Pygmy Mouse Lemurs

The pygmy mouse lemur (Microcebus myoxinus) is a small lemur native to dry, deciduous Madagascan forests. The pygmy mouse lemur feeds on fruit, flowers and insects. Being the smallest lemur in the world, the pygmy mouse lemur can grow up to 6.1 cms (minus the tail, which can grow up to 13.6 cms). The pygmy mouse lemur is solitary and nocturnal. Due to shrinking habitats their population has been decreasing.
