Agave

The Agave (Agave americana) is a plant native to Mexico and the United States. It usually lives in deserts and oak-pine woodlands, but you can meet the in  a lot of warm places. There are 270 species of the Agave.
                  
                   The Agave has a lot of leathery leaves, which can grow up to 2.5 metres (8 feet) in length. The agave only blooms ones in a lifetime! It's flower can grow up to 7.62 metres in height.


                       The flower can be pollinated by bees,birds and even bats! You can also make syrup out of agave. Agave is also used to make sponges. Who knows, maybe you're using an agave sponge?
